Unreal Studio 4.23 released
A new direct workflow directly with Cinema 4D that preserves key elements of the original scene. Features of the new integration include a non-destructive reimport process that handles iterative changes in Cinema 4D after the initial import into the Unreal Engine. You can now convert animations to level sequence assets, save complex scene hierarchies and layer, import of cameras with physical properties, and convert surface materials to Unreal Engine’s physically rendering system.
Datasmith now allows to combine IFC (Industry Foundation Class) files imported with geometry, scene organization, metadata properties, and more.
New collaboration template. Multiple users can now join the shared runtime and interact with the scene. Move objects and make them transparent, adjust and play animations, add bookmarks to indicate key viewpoints on the scene, and so on.
The Static Mesh Editor now has the ability to create UV projections in Unreal Editor. Previously, this was only available through the scripting interface in Blueprint and Python.
And a few more integration improvements for 3DS Max, Revit, Rhino, VRED and Deltagen.
